Khairpur Need-Cum-Merit based Scholarship 2020-21

The Government of Khairpur announced need-cum-merit based scholarship for the talented and needy candidates. For this scholarship, only those candidates are eligible having Khairpur district domicile. However, the students of public institutes, colleges and universities can apply for the Khairpur scholarship 2020-21. The scholarship will provide an opportunity for the underprivileged and needy students to give them a bright future. The last date to apply for the Khairpur scholarship is 28 January 2021.

Here are the details about the Khairpur scholarship 2020-21.

Eligibility Criteria

For the Khairpur need-cum-merit based scholarship, eligibility criteria are the following:  

• Students must have 75% marks in the last examination. However, in the case of CGPA, candidates must have a minimum 3.00 CGPA.
• Candidates have passed the last exam no earlier than 2019.
• Candidates and his/her father have Khairpur CNIC/Domicile.
• Applicants must be a permanent resident of Khairpur.
•  Students of bachelors’ degree from the following fields can also apply.
  • BSc/MSc/BS (04 years)
  • BCS/BIT/MIT
  • B.Ed (04 years)
  • BE/B-Tech (04 years)
  • MBBS/BDS/DVM
  • BSc Engineering Technology
  • BA/B.Com/LLB/BBA/BPA/MA/MBA/MPA/M.Com
  • DAE (03 years only)
• Students who are enrolled in the mentioned degrees on a self-finance basis are not eligible.
• Students of MS/M.Phil/ME/LLM/PhD are not eligible.

Required Documents 

• Certificate from the institute head as a proof of enrollment in the institute
• Candidate personal bank account statement
• Attested copies of student domicile and PRC and his father
• CNIC of student
• Attested copy of ID card
• Matriculation certificate showing date of birth (attest copy)
• Original marks certificate (2019 and onwards) 
• Father/ Guardian income certificate
• Recent passport-size photograph

How to Apply

• Eligible and interested students can get the scholarship form from the Scholarship Branch of Office of Deputy Commissioner/Chairman District Scholarship Board Khairpur.
• You can also download the form from this website (https://www.facebook.com/kpcmsb).
• Candidates have to submit the application to the scholarship branch through the institute head with a covering letter.
