Eligibility Criteria
Here are the eligibility requirements for the Kotzen Fully-Funded scholarship.
- For the fall semester, only freshers can apply.
- The applying students have to submit their standardized test scores. For those who submit the test scores, a 28 or higher on the ACT and a 1300 or higher on the SAT are mandatory.
- Non-local English speakers should submit their TOEFL and SAT or ACT scores.
- GPA of 3.3 or above, unweighted
- College preparatory syllabus including an advanced level math course during or before your senior High school year
- A record about taking honors, Advanced Placement (AP) & International Baccalaureate (IB) courses, as available in their high school systems
How to apply
- The Kotzen application consists of a formal essay (pattern is below) and a resume consisting of your activities & involvements.
- Submit both of them as PDF or Word by 1-12-2021.
- There should be the candidate’s name & his date of birth on each page of their documents.
- The document is not acceptable in the form of Google documents or pages.
Essay Prompt
- Short Answer (up to 250 words): How would you use your additional annual award of $3,000 (for studying abroad, short-time courses, summer internship tuition fee, & research support)?
- Formal Essay (up to 500 words): Some people argue that leaders are born, not made, while others defend the opposite view, namely that leaders are “made.” Write an essay in which you reject or defend one view or the other. Use a specific example of a leader, either from history or from your personal experience, to support your argument.
Interview Date
The organization will conduct the Interviews of the shortlisted Interviewers in February.
Last date to apply
The applicants can complete & send their applications by 1st December 2021. The organization will finalize the scholarship holders in mid-January. The scholarship holders will get the notification on 1st March 2022.
