On 10th June, the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa issued a notification regarding the closure of all private and public sector institutes. Due to the hot weather, the KPK education minister decided to shut down educational institutes. But now, on Wednesday in a recent press conference, he stated that all public and private schools located in winter and summer zone hereby reopened with immediate effect, with already notified standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Moreover, he also announced that the timing of summer zones is from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM while in winter, the timing decide excluding the ones where the temperatures are high) will operate according to their regular timings. Apart from this, the union councils and district administrations notify the KPK education Minister about the areas where temperatures are high. After monitoring the areas, the KPK Education Minister take action accordingly
