Due to excess hot temperature and suffocation, the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa decided to shut down schools once again across the province. They resume the middle classes due to heat. On 15th June 2021, the Elementary and Secondary Education department issued a notification. They stated that all the public and private sector schools in the summer zone and a few in the winter zone will close until further notice. Moreover, the classes from grade 9 to 12 will remain open from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM
Earlier, the provincial Minister for Education, Shahram Khan Tarakai, also notified all institutes to teach only those subjects for which the examinations taken. KPK government also issued the timing schedule for the higher classes. But they decided to keep school shut for middle classes.
