The Finance Department KPK Issued a notification regarding the PST and SST Scale up-gradation 2023. The department published the notice with reference to a previous notification KPK Education Department. According to the previous notice, the former Chief Ministry of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa approved the up-gradation of the school teachers. The CM approved upgrading the Primary School Teacher (PST) scales from BPS 14-15 and Senior School Teacher (SST) from BPS 16-17.

The Finance Department stated that the upgradation could cause an alarming position for the provincial exchequer because huge financial implications are involved in this case. So, the finance department provides two suggestions to review the case again. Department stated that either they will send the case before the upcoming cabinet Committee meeting for reconsideration or move the summary of the PST and SST Scale Up-gradation 2023 to the KPK CM.
