The Government of Pakistan is going to launch a language book for the hearing-impaired within six months. National Institute of Special Education (NISE) introduces this to help aid special needs persons who either enrolled in academic programs or might seek enrollment through future academic cohorts in the country. In a recent meeting, NISE issued a statement;
“The stakeholders such as hearing-impaired persons, representatives of non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and sign language experts from all the provinces actively involved completing the task of sign or silent language books”.
Other than that, some of the basic language patterns like pronunciation and speech determined as major areas for academic readjustments, and the new sign language books will fulfil such requirements.
