National MDCAT For Overseas & Foreign Students
According to the latest notification, Pakistan Medical Commission PMC has made the National MDCAT Test mandatory for all students, not only for Pakistani students but also for Overseas and Foreign Students as well. Now international students who want to get admission in MBBS and BDS programs in medical and dental colleges in Pakistan should follow this procedure before taking admission in the medical field. One option is available for foreign students to submit the scores of the SAT-II subject test.
Due to the pandemic situation of COVID-19, the National MDCAT test got delayed this year throughout Pakistan. Because of this decision, there might be a possibility of canceling the MCAT test for foreign students internationally. Therefore for this year, the MBSS and BDS authority decided to facilitate foreign students, especially expatriate Pakistanis, to apply. One relaxation will be given to such students I .e.l include the SAT-II result of all relevant subjects being Biology, Chemistry, Physics/Math, and English as form the structure of MDCAT.
