Punjab Education Minister Murad Raas tweeted to open all private and public institutions of grade 6 to 8 on September 23rd. The Education Ministers, Shafqat Mehmood, conducted a fruitful meeting. According to the details, the National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) allowed all educational institutes to start the 2nd phase (Grade 6 to 8) on September 23rd. Many other politicians participated in the meeting, including Planning Minister Asad Umar, Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood, Interior Minister Brig (r) Ijaz Ahmad Shah, and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Health Dr. Faisal Sultan. However, the academic session of pre-primary and primary classes shall start from September 30th, 2020.
Students fail to follow SOPs.Therefore, Murad Ras strictly ordered to follow the SOP’s issued by the government. In the last week, the Sindh government decided not to resume the reopening of schools due to coronavirus’s fear. However, after reviewing the current situation of COVID-19, NCOC stated the opening of schools.
“All Public & Private Schools will be allowed classes 6 through 8 starting September 23rd. Everyone must follow SOPs issued by the School Education Department Punjab. All of us have to play our part to make this successful InshAllah”.
