Winter vacations in January 2022
In today’s meeting, the NCOC decided to shift the winter vacation to January 2022. So, now all the institutes will remain open in December 2021. During the meeting, NCOC took the decision on the agreement of all educational ministers. However, the duration of winter vacation will be announced by the NCOC.
According to the report, NCOC delayed vacation due to the ongoing vaccination process in schools. Thus, during this duration, the school will complete the vaccination process. At the same time, there is also reported that schools in those areas where heavy snow takes place will remain closed. Thus, all the school routines will remain the same till January 2022.

However, during the IPEMC meeting held on 14 December, the federal education minister suggested the vacation from 25 December to 04 January 2021. While before this, Sindh and Balochistan governments have already announced the winter vacation notifications.
