On 27 May 2021, Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood announced the O-Level special exams from 26 July 2021. He stated that we issued the NOC to British Council to conduct the Special O-Level exams in July-August 2021. According to the issue notification to the council, the government asked to hold the exams between 26 July to 06 August 2021.
However, on this topic, Shafqat Mahmood said that the exams would facilitate the students to take admission in A-Levels/FA/FSc in September 2021 intake. However, the education minister shows the happiness that Cambridge is arranging these unprecedented exams.
Other than that, Shafqat Mahmood also tweeted regarding the consequences of COVID on the Education sector. He tweeted that the pandemic affected almost all fields of life greatly, especially education. He further said that we take this difficult decision to continue the learning. Every decision has some pros and cons, but for us, students’ welfare is more important.
