NUMS MBBS/BDS Admissions 2020-21 For Army Medical College Rawalpindi

NUMS Islamabad announced the admissions in MBBS and BDS 2020-21. These admissions are for the Army Medical College Rawalpindi. So, for the army medical college, all candidates having Pakistani nationalities can apply. For the MBBS and BDS admissions, candidates can apply online from 28 December 2020. However, the last date for AMC admissions is 14 January 2021.

Eligibility Criteria to Apply in AMC:

NUMS  has announced the eligibility criteria for both Open merit seats and overseas Pakistanis.

For Open Merit Seats

• Candidates having Pakistan and AJK nationality can apply.
• Candidates must have min. 65% marks in FSc
• Candidates must have min. 60 marks on PMC-MDCAT 2020
• For the open merit seats, you have appeared in the NUMS entry test 2020

Documents required for Open merit seats

• Matric certificate
• HSSC pre-medical certificate
• Transcripts of A-Level/12 class
• CNIC/B-Form of candidates
• A recent photograph of candidates with Blue background
• Scanned copy of Paid challan form
• Hifz-e-Quran Certificate

 For Overseas Pakistanis/foreigners

• The admissions of international students would be against open merit seats.
• Candidates must have min. 65% marks in FSc or equivalent 
• Candidates must have min. 60 marks on PMC-MDCAT 2020 or in SAT-II
• In the case of SAT-II, the marks weighted should be 40% in Biology, 35% Chemistry, and 25% physics/maths.
• Applicants must have passed an English proficiency test or have a NUML language course certificate. 

Documents required for overseas Pakistanis/foreigners

• Matric/ O-level certificate
• HSSC pre-medical/ A-level certificate
• Transcripts of A-Level/12 class
• Certificate from the last attended institute as proof of schooling abroad
• SAT-II result after 14 January 2021 and before 14 January 2019 will not be acceptable.
• Current Valid Passport/NICOP
• CNIC/NICOP/POC of candidates’ father
• A recent photograph of candidates with Blue background
• Scanned copy of Paid challan form
• Hifz-e-Quran Certificate

Merit Determination In AMC

For the admissions in AMC, the college will follow this weightage formula:

• FSc 50%
• NUMS Entry Test 50%

How to Apply for AMC:

Candidates can apply by visiting the NUMS website and through the following procedure.

• Choose a link to apply for MBBS/BDS and then register yourself through CNIC/NICOP.
• Deposit Rs 3000/- admissions processing fee in any branch of HBL, A/C Title NUMS Collection Account, A/C # 004279919125503. 
• After that, complete your application and submit it.
• After submission, take the print of the application form.
• The last date to apply in AMC is 14 January 2021.
