Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate must be 17-21 years old on 1-11-2021.
- Only unmarried male applicants can apply.
- The contenders having Pakistani Nationality or Domicile of AJK / Gilgit Baltistan are eligible to apply. Dual nationality holders are not eligible.
- The height of the applicant must be 5 feet 5 inches.
- The candidate must have an FSc (Pre-Medical) degree with a minimum of 70% marks. The applicant should have at least a C grade in Biology Physics and Chemistry.
- The applicants of Balochistan. Sindh (District Tharparkar, Omar Kot) Northern Areas, Azad Kashmir (Upper Neelum valley) and FATA are eligible to apply with 65% marks.
- Suppose any candidate has foreign qualifications like O’ Level and A’ Level. In that case, he must obtain an Equivalence Certificate and conversion of marks from the Inter Board Committee of Chairman, Ministry of Education, Islamabad. The applicant has to attach this Equivalence Certificate with the application form.
- If an applicant has scored 70% marks in FSc Part-1 Examination or appeared in FSc Part-Ill Final Examination, he can apply with “HOPE Certificates” by the Head of the educational institute.
- The above candidates must submit an attested copy of the FSc Part II Certificate Mark Sheets to the PA Directorate (PA.3CI GHO Rawalpindi within five days of results announcement). Otherwise, he will become ineligible for the selection.
Ineligibility Criteria
The candidate with the following specialities is not eligible for selection.
- If an applicant is not recommended twice by the ISSB OHO Selection Board, he is ineligible.
- If a person is declared medically unfit by CMH I Appeal Medical Board; he is ineligible.
- If any contender is medically unhealthy due to Hepatitis B /C, he is ineligible.
- The enrolled cadets and recruits who withdrew or resigned or discharged or dismissed from Armed forces (Army, Navy and Air Force)training academies/institutions for discipline, character, medical reasons, inefficiency, and weak profile are also not eligible to apply.
- A dismissed/removed person from any other government service is ineligible to apply for the registration program.
Registration & Preliminary Selection Procedure
The willing applicants can register for the Medical Cadet Course following procedures:
Registration through Internet
- Go to the official website of the Pak Army and register yourself with an e.mail id.
- After registration, the organization will provide you with the details of the Preliminary Test.
- Moreover, the authorities will issue a computerized roll no slip for the applicants.
- The applicants have to appear on the exact day and time because extra time is not available.
- Don’t forget to bring the necessary documents and prospectus fee on the Test day.
- The applying contender must be computer literate because Preliminary Tests will be conducted on computers.
Registration through AS&RCs
- You can visit Army Selection and Recruitment Centers to complete registration formalities.
- The candidates have to bring the required documents and prospectus fee on the Test day.
Preliminary Test date
It includes a Written/Intelligence/Personality Test, and it will take place from 2-13 August 2021.

Important points to remember
- The contenders must appear in National MDCAT 2021 before applying for registration in the following colleges:
- Medical Cadet (for Army only) in AM College Rawalpindi
- CMH Lahore Medical College
- Quetta Institute of Medical Sciences
- CMH Multan Medical College
- Karachi Institute of Medical Sciences
- The applicant has to mention the College name he is applying to at the top of 1st page of the application form. It must be clear whether he is applying for Army Medical College Rawalpindi or CMH Lahore Medical College. The candidates can choose the Colleges as per their priorities.
- While filling the registration form on the internet, the applicant must point out his choice for College attentively.
- If any contender gets selected on merit at one university/ college, no other candidate will take his place.
- If any contender (selected earlier for MBBS in any of the above medical colleges) will not appear in their particular regional exams, he becomes ineligible for further proceedings.
