We have good news for the medical students eagerly waiting for the MDCAT decision. As per the latest PMC notification, it is to inform all that the PMC officials have decided to amend the PMC Act 2020 and conduct the medical entry test at the provincial level. Firstly, they decided to cancel the PMC MDCAT test. Also, the commission stated that candidates with 60% marks in intermediate would be eligible to apply to medical and dental colleges. Students with 55% can apply for admission to MBBS and with 45% marks for the BDS course. Earlier, the MBBS requirement was 65% for MBBS and 60% for BDS. Now, PMC will conduct a fruitful meeting in this regard in which they decide about the conduction of the MDCAT.

Pakistan Medical Commission announced this notification on Twitter. Now Pakistan Medical Commission will issue the registration portal for MDCAT 2022 will reopen from September 10 to 25 to facilitate all students who cannot register.
