PCTB Issued Notice to Oxford Press
Recently, upon the controversy of Malala Picture on the Oxford 7th class Social students book, PTCB took action and confiscated all books. Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board issued a notice to the Oxford Press under Section 10 of PCTB Act 2015. The notice contains the statement that Expford University Karachi has printed and Published the 7th class book without NOC/permission from the board. Thus, it is a violation of the PCTB act.
The notice also contains that social studies books are now not included in the Single National Curriculum. Thus, upon this violation, the board asked for the clarification of this act within seven days. Otherwise, PCTB will take strict action.
