PITB Incubators for Technology Startup
According to recent news, the Punjab Information Technology Board will launch technology incubators under the regional plan9. According to plan9, the PITB decided to launch the incubation centers in the following cities of Punjab.
- Lahore
- Dera Ghazi khan
- Bahawalpur
- Faisalabad
- Rawalpindi
- Multan
- Gujranwala
- Sahiwal
- Sargodha
However, the board will start the centers with the partnership of public sector universities. However, out of these cities, PITB will start the incubation centers situated in Lahore, Bahawalpur, and Sargodha in April 2021.
Regional Plan9 Startup
According to the Punjab Information Technology Board, the purpose of the regional plan9 is to prompt the startup ecosystem in the province. These startups will provide many services to the candidates, such as free office space, monthly stipend, networking opportunities, mentoring, and training. Other than that, candidates will get the following things under these zero-equity projects.
- Business Development Assistance
- Legal assistance
During the announcement, various members were present there, but the launch date has not been confirmed yet. However, PTIB will start 03 centers in April 2021. Thus, interested candidates can apply to the launchpad and get an opportunity to be inducted into our incubation program.
