As per details, Pakistan Medical Commission PMC is notified to charge Rs 6000/- PKR from National MDCAT test 2021. After this, the majority of students and parents start protesting against this decision. They stated that it is unfair to charge a high amount for the National MDCAT test. In response PMC argued that MDCAT is a computer-based examination to select the eligible candidates that can take admission in the medical and dental colleges. According to PMC, the fee of MDCAT is significantly lower as compared to the other fully automated tests in the world.
Apart from this, the National MDCAT test fee is adequate as it is responsible for various services such as online tutorials, a mock examination with the option to take more, automatic electronic dispatch of candidate results, and an automated scheduling service. However, they also facilitate students with a complete security system complemented with face recognition and ID verification systems at the centers. The duration of this exam is 3 and half hours, comprising 210 questions. It is mandatory for students to clear test in order to get admission in medical field
