Recently, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) issued a notification as an alert regarding the affiliation of institutes. HEC stated that private universities and Higher Education Institutions are not able to affiliate with any college or other institutes. Thus, HEC will not recognize the degree of those institutes that will be affiliated with any private institute.
HEC took this decision to control the mismanagement and poor quality of standards facing from the past. However, HEC also stated that private sector HEIs would only operate through the accredited principal seats or main campus. Thus, students must check the affiliations of the institutes and with whom those institutes are affiliated before taking admissions. However, HEC also provided the list of all recognized Higher Education institutions with details on the website.
