On 03 June 2021, Punjab University announced the notification regarding the reopening of the university from 07 June 2021. However, PU announced the schedule under notification No. D / 215/ R. According to the notification, a meeting of the university dean and VC on 01 June 2021 was held about the reopening of the university.
Thus, from 07 June 2021, the Punjab University will resume on-campus classes according to the following schedule.
- From 07 June, all students of MS, M.Phil, Ph.D. research works /Coursework will start on-campus classes or work.
- The BS 2nd semester classes will start face to face from 07 June 2021.
- The online exams of semesters 4 and 6 of BS will continue, and the departments will announce the practicals later.
- New sessions for the BS 5th and 7th semester will start from September 2021 (tentatively).
- The students of BS 8th semester and MA/MSc 4th semester have persimmon for the on-campus research work and practicals from 07 June 2021.
- The university will also resume transport from 07 June 2021.
