According to the recent notification of SED, PMIU Unit, the Punjab Government has announced to provide NSB funds to all schools. The announced finds are for the 1st quarter of the Fiscal Year 2021-22. So, all primary, elementary, high, and higher secondary schools will get the fund. However, the government has approved Rs 3.5555 Billion budget for the NSB fund 2021-22. However, the list of all schools in 36 districts has already been sent to the concerned authority.
Guidelines for NSB Fund
PIMU has issued a list of guidelines for allocating and transferring funds to the schools and executing that fund by the schools. So, below are the instructions.
- District Education authorities will get the NSB funds that they can’t use for other purposes.
- The CEO of districts will transfer the NSB funds immediately to the schools’ bank accounts.
- CEO make sure that every school has exclusive bank accounts for the NSB Funds.
