Punjab Govt Announces 9th and 10th Class Smart Syllabus

Class 9th and 10th Smart Syllabus:

According to the details, The Government of Punjab decided to reduce Class IX and X’s (9th and 10th class) syllabus. The time is short, i.e., from September to February), and students cannot complete the entire class 9th and 10th syllabus. Therefore, the Government announced to decrease or shorten the syllabus and named it as a Smart Syllabus. In this regard, the preparation has started for the academic session in 2020. However, the Punjab Government issued the Short Curriculum Notification NO.SO (ER-2) 1-9 / 2020.For students, Punjab govt also launch smart syllabus.

In the recent notification, the Government mentioned 11 subjects to Class IX and X. Not only this, but they also mention the page numbers of each chapter in the notification. The Annual paper will be made based on these chapters and pages mentioned in the notification.                     

Furthermore, the exam will be held according to the previous schedule. Now, the Government has finalized the smart syllabus. The 11 subjects include Urdu, English, Islamic Studies, Pakistan Studies, Physics, Mathematics (Science and Arts), Chemistry, Biology, Computer Sciences, and General Sciences. 

It is also pertinent to mention that due to irrelevant content found in the Pak studies book, the Government advised not to issue the English version of the Pakistan studies book of Class 9th.  

Rana Liaqat, General Secretary, Punjab Teachers Union, also issued the decision that the education department should not harm the children as our teachers have the power to complete the one-year syllabus within these six months.
