The government of Punjab already announced the winter vacations in all Punjab educational institutes. However, due to heavy fog in various cities of Punjab, the government has decided to extend the winter vacations to 2023 at parents’ request as parts of the country are reeling under the cold wave. The government of Punjab or the School Education Department has not shared any official details or notification about the extension of winter vacations. But there are chances that the government may extend vacations in light of chilly weather and smog. The government announced the winter vacations from December 18, 2023.
