The government of Punjab issued a notification regarding the advance pay and allowance for September month 2022. According to the notification, the Punjab employees will get their salary in advance on 2. The pensioners of the Punjab province will also get pensions on the same 30th September 2022 date. The date of actual payable is 1st October 2022.
Due to the 1st & 2nd October 2022 (Saturday & Sunday) being gazetted holidays, the Governor of Punjab notifies to approve that pay & Allowances. The pension of government employees/pensioners of the Government of Punjab may be disbursed on 30th September 2022 (Friday), as provided in Note-1 below Rule 5.1 (1)(e), Punjab Finance Rules, Vol-I.
