As the Summer season is about to start, the Punjab Government issued a notification regarding the school timing. The government of Punjab is going to change the school timing of all private and public schools. The new school timing from March 01 is 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. It is applicable for all Punjab schools. The education department conducts a meeting with all provincial education authorities. They get suggestions from others and finalize it once the consultation is completed.
Firstly, the Punjab Government closed the academic activities due to the worse COVID-19 condition. But now the situation is under control, now they order to conduct 100pc attendance after a decline in COVID-19 cases. The Punjab School Education Department had suggested the resumption of all classes in the schools with full attendance from Wednesday (today). Now, they also changed the school timing.
