Punjab private schools gave seven days to revise fee
The government has announced that we are giving one week’s time ultimate to follow the government order to issue revised fee challans. Talking to the media, Punjab Minister for School Education Dr. Murad Raas said,
“The government has decided to wait for seven days so that the management of schools can make arrangements during this lockdown and issue revised fee challans,”
Adding more, the Minister said that it was sad to hear that the school owners who are rich and billionaires were not ready to offer relief to people during these tough times. On Wednesday, he issued the order to reduce the 20% tuition fee.
The Government of Punjab gave a time of seven days to give concession for April and May and issue revised challan form to the students. In recent days, Dr. Murad Raas has conducted the meeting with the private school owners, and in that meeting, he “flat out” refused to give concession to the students.

The Education minister took the decision to provide financial assistance to the parents affected by the lockdown in the current coronavirus pandemic. They also ordered to pay full salaries to all staffers. The education minister, Dr. Murad Raas, also requested that parents must not deposit fees till the schools issue revised fee challans, adding that after seven days, the government would announce a complaint mechanism against private schools.
