The School Education Department (SED) Punjab issued a notification regarding the holidays in Punjab Schools on the 11th and 12th of May, 2023. According to the notice, all Public and Private schools in Punjab will remain closed for two days due to the prevailing security situation. However, the offices will remain open and perform their duties as usual.
Before this, the Punjab Government announced 01 Day holiday on 10 May 2023. Due to the ongoing political situation in the province and the blockage of roads, the department announced 02 more holidays. So, now the educational institutes will open on Saturday.
