PU Mathematics Contest 2021
Punjab University Lahore, Department of Mathematics announced a National Undergraduate Mathematics Contest 2021. This competition is for the students of mathematics from all the universities of Pakistan recognized by HEC. Thus, interested candidates can apply through the PU website till 19 March 2021. However, the competition will be on 10 April 2021.
Punjab University organizes the competition with the collaboration of The National Mathematical Society of Pakistan. However, PU decided to organize this contest every year in April to provide a platform to the students. Through this platform, undergraduate students will be able to show their mathematical literacy.
Important Dates and Venue
The competition venue will be “Departments of Mathematics, University of Punjab, Quaid-e Azam Campus, Lahore. However, below are some important dates that candidates have to remember.
- Last date of registration: 19 March 2021
- Contest day: 10 April 2021
Prize Distribution
At the end of the competition, the university will announce the first three positions, and the candidates will receive the following cash as a prize.
- 1st prize: Rs 30,000
- 2nd prize: Rs 25,000
- 3rd prize: Rs 20,000
