Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi issued a notification regarding the closing of schools. Due to the current situation of Rawalpindi’s Political March Civilian administration, the deputy commissioner decided to shut down the schools, colleges, and universities for 02 days. All educational institutes (government and private) will now be closed from 8th November 2022 to 9th November 2022. The decision on whether to extend the closure will be taken later.
If the Political march goes on longer, these holidays can be extended. Till now, only 2 days of holidays have been announced on 8 and 9 November 2022. These vacations are due to the Long March by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf PTI. The deputy commissioner also issued a notification in this regard.
