Revised Basic Pay Scale and Allowances 2022 for KPK Civil Servants

The Finance Department of KPK issued a notification regarding the Revised Basic Pay Scales and Allowances 2022 for the provincial Civil servants. According to the notice, the revised pay scales and allowances will be effective from 01 July 2022 for all Government employees. However, below is the detail about the KP Basic Pay scales and allowances and the terms in which the government revised them.

KPK Revised Basic Pay Scale 2022

The KPK government replaced the Basic Pay Scales-2017 with the Basic Pay Scales-2022 from 01 July 2022 based on the following terms.

• Existing pay fixation
• Fixation of Pay on Promotion
• Annual Increment

Annual increments will continue to be admissible, subject to the existing conditions, on 01 December.

KPK Revised Allowances 2022

The KPK government has revised the following allowances for 2022 for the Provincial Government employees.

• Adhoc Relief Allowances
• Special Pay and Allowances

Upon introducing Adhoc relief allowances in 2022, the provincial government has ceased all Adhoc previous allowances grants in 2016-2019 and 2021. 

• The KPK Employees will get the 15% Adhoc Relief Allowance 2022 on the Basic running pay of the Basic Pay Scale-2017. 
• New entrants will get the Adhoc Allowances 2022 @15% of the relevant Basic pay of BPS-2017 on the rational basis from 01 July 2022.
• The income tax will be implemented on the Adhoc Relief Allowances.
• The Allowances will be admissible during leave and the entire period of LPR.
• The Adhoc Relief will be admissible during the period of suspension.
