On Friday, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah issued a new notification regarding the closure of educational institutes in Sindh. According to the details, Murad Ali Shah announced to open schools after one week. On 20th August 2021, Murad Ali Shah reviewed the condition of coronavirus. As the Sindh province still fighting the coronavirus battle, therefore, Sindh Chief Minister after getting suggestion from another senior representative decided to close school for another week. Other than that, Murad Raas also ordered all teachers and parents to ensure vaccination of all the schools’ staffers. After this decision, majority of Private Schools Management Association Sindh (APSMAS) voiced its concern over extension in the closure of educational institutions in the province
On August 17, the Sindh government announced reopening educational institutions across the province from Monday (August 23). They also ordered the opening of only those schools where teachers, non-teaching and other staff members 100% vaccinated. Moreover, they also ensure the 50% attendance policy
