On Tuesday, Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah decided to reopen school on 23rd August 2021 across the province Sindh. They took this decision after consulting with the steering committee. To continue the education system physically, Syed Sardar Ali Shah announced to start physical classes from August 23. Other than that, he said schools will with 50 per cent attendance and be subject to strict compliance with Covid-19 standard operating procedures. However, they also make it mandatory for teachers to vaccinate themselves before opening of schools. Moreover, the parents and teachers will also have to submit their vaccination certificates at schools, Shah said.
There is also a possibility of taking sudden and random PCR (polymerase chain reaction) test. He also said that after 9th and 10th Muharram, the situation of COVID-19 will reviewed once gain on 20th August
