An eye infection that is caused by bacteria or viruses is called a pink eye infection. Also called Conjunctivitis. It transfers from person to person. However, it is mostly spread in schools and daycare centers. It is not a serious infection if diagnosed promptly. It only diagnoses for 8 to 10 days. They start in one eye, where they cause lots of tears and a watery discharge. After 3 to 4 days, the other eye gets infected. You feel a swollen lymph node in front of your ear or under your jawbone.

- Keep the environment clean
- Take a bath daily
- Wash your hands often with soap and warm water for 20 seconds.
- Dont go to the rushy places
- Keep your eyes clean
- Do not share your things, such as pillows, washcloths, towels, eye drops, eye or face makeup, makeup brushes, contact lenses, contact lens storage cases, or eyeglasses.
- Avoid touching or rubbing your eyes.
