Punjab Notification for 03 Days Holidays
The School Education Department Punjab announced the 03 days of holiday per week in Lahore. The announced notification is for all public & private schools due to the heavy smog in Lahore. So, all schools in Lahore will remain closed from Friday to Sunday every week till further order.
The Education Department issues the holiday notification after the Lahore High Court (LHC) orders. LHC directed the Punjab Governmnet to announce the 03 days of holidays from 07 December 2022. Now, on the instructions of LHC, the Department issue an official notification of 03 days’ holidays in Lahore every week.

In the official notification, the Department instructed the Chief executive Officers and concerned heads to manage the distribution of Homework to the school students during the holidays. Remember that the issue notification is only for Lahore. The schools in other cities will remain open according to the schedule.
