Shanghai Jiaotong University Scholarship covers
Shanghai Jiaotong University Scholarship 2021 covers the following expenditure or students:
- Full-tuition fee expenditure of students.
- Living quarters for students.
- Free Health Care Services & Medical insurance.
- Monthly stipend of RMB 3,000 for Masters students.
- Monthly stipend of 3,500 RMB for PhD students.
Eligibility Criteria
The selection criteria for the eligible candidates is below. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria must apply before the due date.
- Citizens of countries other than China are eligible to apply.
- Applicants applying for a Master’s degree should have a Bachelor’s degree before.
- Applicants applying for a PhD degree should have a Master’s degree before.
- Candidates applying for a Master’s degree must be 35 years old.
- Candidates applying for a PhD degree must be 40 years old.
- The applicant has to submit a Valid passport & Medical certificate.
- There is no need for IELTS/TOEFL.

There are two ways to apply for the Shanghai Jiaotong University Scholarship:
- Through direct contact with the university.
- Through the Ministry/Embassy of your mother country.
In both cases, you have to apply online. Fill the admission form online & attach the required documents.
Application Deadline
The last date for applying is 15th December 2020 (for 1st round) & 31st December 2020 (for 2nd round). An incomplete or overdue application is unacceptable.
