On Tuesday, the government of Sindh issued a notification regarding the official holiday on 27th December 2021. As everyone knows, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto died on 27th December during the rally in Rawalpindi. Therefore, the Sindh government declared a holiday in this regard. However, they decided to close all offices, Autonomous, semi-Autonomous bodies, corporations, and local councils on the occasion of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. According to the notification by the Services, General Administration, and Coordination Department, the day will observe as a public holiday “throughout the province of Sindh.”
On the other hand, the government of Sindh also announced a public holiday on 25th December 2021 (Saturday) on the occasion of Christmas and Quaid-e-Azam Day.
