Sindh High Court Stopped MDCAT on 15 November
On the instruction of the Sindh High Court, PMC has postponed the MDCAT 2020. The PMC scheduled the test for 15 November 2020, but now, it will not happen. Sindh High Court took this decision on 11 November 2020.
Now, the Court ordered the PMC to make an academic board and authority within 15 days. After that, PMC will finalize the syllabus and then announce the MDCAT 2020 date.
It is excellent news for the students as they want to extend the test date and admission criteria. PMC made some changes this year, but a lot of students refused to accept that. Students demanded to delay the test, and for this reason, they made “DelayMDCAR2020” trending.

Sindh High Court Statements
Here are some statements from the Sindh High Court Order regarding the MDCAT 2020.
- The Court objected to the PMC notification on 23 October 2020. According to that, the PMC will provide an objection form to the students. The students can write that question on the form if they think it is out of the syllabus. The Sindh High Court criticized this and said that it is unreasonable and against the standard rules. This statement created confusion in the applicants.
The Pakistan Medical Commission also announced that they would announce the MDCAT date soon. Now, students have to wait for further instructions and test dates. Those students who are already registered will be eligible to attempt the MDCAT 2020.
