The Private Student May Not Be Promoted
Exams all over Pakistan had canceled, and students will promote to the next classes without exams. The Federal Ministry of Education is considering to not promote private students on education boards due to which private candidates may face a year’s loss due to the cancellation of the exams.
There is no proper mechanism through which private candidates can be promoted. As most of the private students appear for combined papers of matric or Intermediate, there is no previous record based on which they get a certificate.

About 4 million students have applied for admission across the country, and almost 30-35% of students are private, appearing in combined exams, having supplies, and appearing for improvement. So, it is challenging to award marks for these students.
The Ministry of Education has a meeting on May 11 regarding this critical issue, and all heads of the boards will attend the meeting through a video link.
