On 15 February 2021, the University of Health and Sciences announces schedule the commencement of classes for medical and dental colleges. The UHS announced the schedule in meeting with different VCs and colleges. However, the VCs and Principles of Medical colleges of AJk also participated in the meeting.
Announced Schedule
According to the announced schedule, the classes in dental and medical colleges will start according to the following schedule.
- Classes in Punjab Public Medical and dental colleges will commence on 22 February 2021.
- Classes in medical colleges in AJK will start from 01 March 2021.
However, in the meeting, VC of Fatima Jinnah Medical University, King Edward Medical University, Faisalabad Medical University participated. Similarly, the Principal of Allama Iqbal Medical College, Sargodha Medical College, and Gujranwala Medical Colleges also attended the meeting.
Other instructions
Other than schedule, the UHS also announced that all colleges would invite the students for white coat ceremony. If any students weren’t able to pay the fees, then his/her admission will not be rejected. However, on the asking of principals, UHS will pay the fee of those students.
