As most of you may have already heard about the order of Government of Punjab notice regarding increase in Winter Vacation for 2022. The Punjab Government Higher Education Department has also notified about the extension in the Winter Vacations upto 8th January 2023. This extension is applicable for the educational institutes (schools and colleges) across Punjab. The Government has to take this decision in regard to the pathetic situation of Smog in various cities across Punjab.
In reference to this notice, the University of the Punjab has also announced closure of their institute upto 8-1-2023. According to their notification, the University Teaching Departments, Institutes, Centres, and Constituent Colleges & Schools will remain close upto the said date. So, the students studying in these institutes must read this notification clearly.
For your information, we would like to add that Administrative Staff (University Teaching Departments, Institutes, Centres, and Constituent Colleges & Schools) will continue their jobs as usual.
