The United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) has offered a Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant program for 2023. The FLTA Program is for English language teachers all over Pakistan. It is an opportunity to refine their skills and improve their English language proficiency.
FLTA Program is a nine-month course that will teach Urdu or Pashto in American educational institutes (Colleges and Universities). It is a fully-funded program and will start in the Fall of 2024. Now let us tell you more about it. The participants of Fulbright FLTA may assist in up to 20 hours of language classes a week and are required to enroll in a minimum of two courses per semester. One of them must be US Studies. The remaining coursework will be relevant to their careers in English language teaching. Both male and female candidates from AJK, GB, Balochistan, Punjab, Sindh, and KPK can send their applications before 8th March 2023.

Eligibility Criteria for Fulbright FLTA Program 2023
The applicant must be:
- A Pakistani national with a valid Pakistani Passport
- Resident in Pakistan throughout the nomination & selection process.
- A young, early career educator with teaching experience
- At least 16 years of formal education
- A teacher of the English language or a relevant field at the college/university level
- Women, disabled people, and individuals from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (FATA), AJK, Gilgit Baltistan, Balochistan, Northern Sindh, and Southern Punjab are highly encouraged to apply.
