The Punjab Government has announced a 20% admission quota in the nursing colleges for backward areas. The Caretaker CM Punjab, Usman Buzdar, approved the admission quota. However, the Punjab Cabinet Standing Committee for Law & Parliamentary Affairs has also approved the quota.
During announcing the admission quota for the undeveloped areas of Punjab, Usman Buzdar talked about the development. He stated that new jobs would be created in the regions because of this quota, and these areas would also get health services. Further, he said that Punjab Government is trying its best to provide the best health facilities to the citizens.
Other than the 20% admission quota, Usman Buzdar also announced the package of Rs 2.5 Billion for Punjab Districts nursing colleges. Thus, now through the 20% admission quota, those candidates, who can’t be able to study, have a chance to provide the services to their people. Through this step, the far-flung areas have a chance of better development.
