Inspection Scores for Medical & Dental Teaching Institutions
Recently, the Punjab Medical Commission has announced the 05 inspection scores for the medical and dental teaching institutions. Through these inspection scores, PMC will monitor the institute’s performances. However, PMC will provide a one year time to improve those institutes whose performance will not be satisfactory.
However, PMC will score the medical and dental teaching institutes according to the following grading system.
- A+ 92.5-100%
- A 85-92.49%
- B 77.5-84.99%
- C 70-77.49%
- F less than 70-fail

However, if any institute or teaching hospital secures a C or B score after inspection then, the commission will give one year. During this period, institutes have to improve at least the next higher level score. However, those colleges that will achieve A or higher scores will be inspected every three years.
On the other hand, institutions will not get provisional registration in future. Instead of these, the institutes will get final scoring. However, below is the official notice of PMC about this.
