Government Decided to Reopen Educational Institutes

After closing educational institutes from 6th September, everyone was awaiting the outcomes of the recent NCOC meeting. The students, in particular, were waiting to find out whether the educational institutions would open or remain closed. Few hours before the Federal Minister for Planning, Mr. Asad Umar, announced the reopening of schools, Colleges, and Universities from 16th September 2021.  

The Government decided to open educational institutions with 50% attendance in one day. Asad Umer further mentioned that we see a continuous decrease in the intensity of the fourth wave of Corona. They decided to open Intercity transport with 50% passengers while educational institutions will from Thursday.

In his press conference today, he said that the Corona situation has improved in most highly contagious districts. The condition of Corona in 18 of the 24 districts is in control right now. While in the six districts, including Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Sargodha, Gujarat, and Bannu, the institutions shall remain closed till 22nd September 2021.

According to Asad Umar, the entry of non-vaccinated or half-vaccinated people will get banned from various places after 30th September. There are no restrictions on business, but those who are non-vaccinated will be banned.

Reminder regarding Covid-19 Vaccination 

As all of us know, the Pakistani Government is providing free vaccines worth Rs 200 billion to accelerate the vaccination procedure for the safety of the people. More than 50% of the population of Islamabad got vaccinated. So, to get our lives back to normal, it is essential to get two doses of any Covid-19 vaccine. Cooperate with the Government as they are doing all this for our betterment only.
