On 3rd December 2020, the Government of Punjab, School Education Department issued a letter regarding the advance increment of Higher Qualification and English Teachers. In a recent notification, they allowed advanced increments to applicants based on higher qualifications. The highly qualified teachers protest for those government institutions which paid less to such teachers. Therefore, they urged to increase the salary package. The Apex Court of Pakistan sustained this notification. Increasing the salary package also benefits the other teachers.
