The Directorate of Education Department AIOU issued a notification regarding the termination of Matric, FA, and BA programs. In the news, it is mentioned that enrolled students must complete their degree of these programs. Those students who are pursuing their education as an old group have to complete it up to 2021.
AIOU announced that if students can’t complete their degree until 2021, they have to re-apply for the admission. The university will cancel all their courses, either student has passed it or not. In this case, they have to take their admissions according to the 2019-Autumn policy.
So, students are advised to complete their degrees within the given time. In case of any reaper in the paper(s), you must apply to get your degree.
Other than that, the university might also abolish the 02 years of master’s degrees after December 2020. If it will, then from 2021, the university will only offer BS-Hons programs. So, AIOU will offer the MA degrees for the last time in Autumn 2020. Those students who want to enroll in MA programs can apply between 01 September 2020 to 15 October 2020.
