AIOU Phase Out Some AD and Masters Degrees
According to the recent notification of AIOU, the university has abolished some associate degrees, B.Com, and MBA degrees. The university announced this decision under the AIOU new educational policy 2021. However, AIOU also mentioned the deadline for the already enrolled students in the abolished degrees. So, below are the details about the degree and the deadline to complete them.
Associate Degrees in commerce (Old Scheme)
Those students who have enrolled in Spring 2019 or earlier must complete their degree by Autumn 2023.
Associate Degrees in B.Com (Revised) New scheme
Those students who have enrolled in Spring 2020 must complete their degree by Autumn 2024.
B.Com 02 years (Old Scheme)
Those students who have enrolled in Spring 2019 or earlier must complete their degree by Autumn 2023.
MBA/MPA COl 02 years (Old Scheme)
Those students who have enrolled in Autumn 2019 or earlier must complete their degree by Autumn 2024.
MBA/MPA COl 02 years (New Scheme)
Those students who have enrolled in Autumn 2020 on the new scheme must complete their degree by Autumn 2025.
However, those students who enrolled in Spring 2021 will complete their 04 years.
NOTE
AIOU has ended the master’s degrees programs after spring 2021 on HEC Instruction. Thus. MA/MSc/M.Ed students who enrolled in spring 2021 or earlier must complete their degrees till Autumn 2025. After this, the university will not provide any relief to the students.
