According to the details, it is to notify all KPK students that annual board exams of grade 10th and 12th will begin from Saturday (10th July 2021). Applicants who are going to sit in the annual examination will now start their preparation. The Education secretary, Yahya Akhunzada and director Hafiz Ibrahim said that the candidates for both matriculation and intermediate examinations would appear in elective subjects only.
Moreover, the examination will held in two phases. In the first phase, the examinations for 10th and 12th grades are held which begin on July 10. In the second phase, the examinations for ninth and 11th grades will conduct soon after the Eid Ul Adha festival,” he said. Other than that, he also stated that almost 80% of teachers vaccinated against novel coronavirus and that only vaccinated teachers will allow to invigilate examinations. As the fourth wave of COVID-19 will going to start, therefore we should follow SOPs. Also, he stated that schools will only close for 11 days.
Apart from this, Mr Tarakai said the supply of the textbooks developed under the single national curriculum would begin on July 12, while the books up to the middle classes would be provided next year.
