Due to the worse COVID-19 situation, the Azad and Jammu Kashmir Board decided to promote all private and government students of class 1 to class 8. One main reason for promoting students is that students are unable to complete their course work due to prolonged vacations or closing of schools. They have no clear concept of any topic. Therefore, the board could not conduct the annual exams for the students. In this regard, AJK Board issued notification and forwarded to all concerned departments.

Earlier, it also not confirmed that schools might reopen or not. But after the NCOC final decision, they were instructed to reopen all educational institutes in AJK without any delay. They also advised school staff not to waste time and focus on studies. Moreover, Azad and Jammu Kashmir AJK haven’t announced the final date sheet of SSC and HSSC annual board exams yet. The examination schedule will soon be provided to the students. So, they can start their preparation according to the schedule. Also, AJK Board also notify that students of SSC and HSSC will not promoted to the next class without giving board examination
