On 15th April 2021, the Board of Intermediate and Education Karachi issued the notification regarding HSSC Exams. According to the details, it is to notify all that BIEK going to implement a condensed syllabus for HSSC exams. However, the Education Department already announced that the annual paper of BIEK conducted according to the smart syllabus. Therefore, the concerned departments start providing the smart syllabus to all students so that they can start their annual board exam preparation according to the issued syllabus.
Due to the prolonged closure of the education system, students are unable to complete their syllabus, especially board students. Therefore, BIEK decided to provide this condensed syllabus for the preparation of intermediate Part I and II annual exams. Sindh Education Council and minister for education and literacy department, the government of Sindh approved this decision. The distribution of numbers as per the decision of the steering committee said that the Annual HSSC paper comprises 50% MCQs, 30% short questions, and 20% long questions. No question occur out of the syllabus. For students, Punjab govt also launch smart syllabus.
