On Saturday, Deputy Education Officer issued a notification regarding the education system in Chakwal schools. After a conference, DEO Chakwal decided to ban co-education for boys and girls studying in classes VI to VIII in the government schools of the district. For this purpose, they issued an official notification on Thursday. Now, they start excluding the names of female students of classes six, seven, and eight from the enrollment lists of public schools that allowed co-education.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Chakwal Education Authority took notice of the matter and issued a clarification in this regard. Deputy Education Officer also issued the press release regarding the prohibition of co-education at the elementary level hereby canceled/ withdrawn as sub-into,” the revised notification said.
