On Thursday, the Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif conducted a fruitful meeting with other senior representatives. In a meeting, they approved the various proposals like relaunch of health cards for the poor, provision of tetra milk to meet dietary needs of students, school transport and electric bikes. Now, they have decided to relaunch a health card insurance scheme. She said that no poor person will be deprived of his right to free treatment. ”We want to provide the best medical facilities to the common man.”, she observed.

Maryam Nawaz stressed that the health card was a project of Pakistan Muslim League (N) and the new government wanted to relaunch it in a sustainable manner. She directed the authorities concerned to form a working group to make health cards more effective, and present a workable plan in this regard within 3 months.
